Sportsmanship is defined as the conduct and attitude considered as befitting participants in sports, especially fair play, courtesy, striving spirit and grace in losing.
This is one of those life lessons taught to all of us that grew up watching and playing sports. Its where we learned how to win and learned how to lose gracefully.

Man what I wouldn’t give for a little college football right about now.
If it wasn’t for the NFL divisional championship games and the start of SEC play in college basketball, I probably would go crazy.
But since I’m at home and having to write this between baby feedings – every 3 1/2 to 4 hours – I’m going to give you a few story lines to follow this weekend.

This has been a week to remember and I’m not talking about sports.
My son was born on Jan. 2 and between the in-laws and my parents, things have been borderline chaos.
But that doesn’t mean I didn’t get to watch a game or two between diaper changes, bottle feedings and the rare three to four hour nap.
